Tower Insurance launches Digital Premium Payment Acceptance.
Tower Insurance, which prides itself on being one of Fiji’s longest-standing insurance companies has implemented BSP’s Internet Payment Gateway online payment portal. This latest advancement enables their insurance clients to use their BSP EasyCard or any VISA badged Debit or Credit card to pay their premiums online.
Tower Insurance Head of Pacific Digital Distribution, Mr Veilawa Rereiwasaliwa explained that this project was a key one to Tower as it allowed cards to be used online and not just in our branches. “Partnering with BSP has enabled us to extend our digital payment acceptance capabilities to also accommodate BSP EasyCard holders which is unique to BSP,” he added. “The platform also accepts any bank’s VISA badged Debit or Credit card with MasterCard cards expected to be allowed in the near future. We are currently the only insurance company in Fiji that has this payment capability for our customers.”
According to Tower, beyond the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses must adapt for customer demand and create “digital first” business models. “One of the challenges we encounter is the ability for our customers to pay their premiums so having an online payment capability goes a long way to addressing that challenge for our customers. Paying online using their cards is also a more convenient method of payment for our overseas based customers”.
Mr Rereiwasaliwa acknowledged their organisational advantage with expertise, experience and regulatory knowledge and insisted that Tower is committed to staying at the forefront of innovation in a rapidly evolving global business market.
