Miliana Tavakaturaga is new BSP General Manager People & Culture.

BSP Financial Group Limited (BSP) has announced the appointment of Ms. Miliana Susau Tavakaturaga as the new General Manager People & Culture, effective 05 February 2024. This significant step reflects the organisation's commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion within its Executive Leadership team.

Mr. Haroon Ali, BSP Country Head welcomed the newest addition to his Executive team, “We are confident that Ms. Tavakaturaga's extensive experience and expertise will further strengthen our focus on nurturing a high-performance culture and driving our people and culture agenda to new heights."

Ms. Tavakaturaga is a highly qualified HR Generalist with 18 years of experience in banking, including 8 years dedicated to Human Resources. Her extensive background includes a prior role as a Human Resources Business Partner at a major bank in Fiji, demonstrating her deep understanding of HR practices within the banking and finance industry. Her proven track record and deep understanding of HR practices within the banking & finance industry make her a valuable addition to the Leadership team.

Her strength lies in HR Strategy; HR Business Partnering, Employee and Employment Relations, HR Analytics, Remuneration Review and HR Policy Advice in compliance with the Employment Relations Act and Payroll regulations. She has also had experience in banking operations and digital banking support.

The newly appointed BSP General Manager, Miliana Susau Tavakaturaga, expressed her gratitude for the confidence placed in her abilities, stating, “I am excited to join one of Fiji’s largest corporate sector employer and I’m committed to adding value to its progressive People & Culture Program. Ms. Tavakaturaga’s holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of the South Pacific, along with postgraduate qualifications in Business Administration and Human Resources Management. Beyond her professional and academic accomplishments, she is a proud mother of three children.
